As you may or may not know. I have six kids. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would end up with six kids. My husband, who is an only child, said two kids when we first were married. But we have since flourished. We were fruitful and multiplied.
Reasons to have a Big Family
Here are 10 reasons to have a big family:
1. You create little versions of yourself
Isn’t it the most wonderful thing when a three-year-old is repeating back to you something you said to her.
2. More than 10 years of being pregnant and nursing
That is a really long time.
3. You are an overwhelming force wherever you go
Crowds part like the Red Sea parted for Moses. You just spread out, and you are force to be reckoned with.
4. You get to drive a bus
Twelve passenger van, bus what’s the difference.
5. People think you are a doomsday prepper when you Costco shop
Yeah, that is kind of self-explanatory.
6. But since you drive a bus, you have plenty of room to load your supplies
I mean groceries. Yes, groceries. I can’t take the Subaru shopping. It was questionable if we were going to get all the groceries packed into the little car.
7. Everybody looks and counts
You are doing a service to the people around you by enhancing their counting skills.
8. There is always noise….like always
If you are adverse to complete silence, then have a big family.
9. You get to realize your super power as a human dictionary. Every. Single. Day.
Who knew that important questions like: Can I get bit by a radioactive spider? Or what kind of underwear does Hulk wear? From the depths or your knowledge, and all of your education comes down to whether or not you can answer these questions.
10. It is the best thing I could ever imagine
I’ve been the high-powered, corporate woman working on Broadway. None of that compares with being a mom.
